For some, our Church has long been part of their lives and of the story of their families, for others passing through; it is a welcoming community in this great city of some 15 million inhabitants. |
| Built and maintained by Irish Dominicans, St Abraham's continues a tradition of Dominican presence in Iran which goes back to 1300. |
| In this web site visitors will find the story of the Christian and Dominican presence in Iran but the site also aims to provide our community with a growing body of material to help deepen knowledge of the faith as it is lived at this crossroads of cultures and religions which is Iran. We thank all those who contribute material and expertise. We hope the site may become a place where friends and stranger may pause to become better acquainted and find encouragement and company in their journey of following Christ. |
